About Shawn Marie Hardy

Shawn Marie Hardy is a mixed-media artist whose main focus is surrealism. She creates collage dreamscapes, paintings, and assemblages using a variety of art supplies and found objects.

She has shown publicly in numerous solo and group exhibits in the United States and New Zealand and her work is in collections in the US and abroad. She first studied art privately under her uncle, kinetic artist, Mark Esper. She furthered her studies at City College of San Francisco and at LCC in her hometown of Lansing, Michigan.

Shawn currently lives with her cats in Portland, Oregon and spends as much time as possible surrounded by trees, pondering her dreams.
