About Shawn Marie Hardy

Shawn Marie Hardy creates collage dreamscapes, paintings, and assemblages using a variety of mediums and found objects. She is inspired by dreams, the universe, surrealism, music, and memories of childhood.

Shawn Marie has shown publicly in numerous solo and group exhibits in the United States and New Zealand, and her work is in collections in the US and abroad. She first studied art privately under her uncle, kinetic artist, Mark Esper. She furthered her studies at City College of San Francisco and at LCC in her hometown of Lansing, Michigan.

Shawn Marie currently lives with her girly cat, named Boy, in the beautiful land of Portland, Oregon. She spends as much time as possible surrounded by trees, pondering her dreams.
